FFXI Chocobo sectionFollow

Since the release of chocobo raising in FFXI, there seems to have been a few long threads discussing it but no particular section with info on chocobo raising in general.

I was wondering if Alla could add a section for chobo raising, including:

Basic Chocobo Raising Guides (including info on what you can and can not do, how to raise the chocobo, care plans, kamp kweh etc.)

Chocobo Breeding

Chocobo Items (I believe they're already listed, but I would have to check to see if they show how much they satisfy hunger or how much they affect the 'bo)

Chocobo Digging (hot and cold game)

Chocobo Racing (not implemented yet, but the category could be added with everything else to save a bit of time when it is. Also, as suggested by Pandora, a way to view the winners of each race or racing history of the chocobos might be good too.)

A server list of registered chocobos by server.

I'd be more than willing to organize all of the information we currently have available to us (mostly from the various forum threads) and write the sections for the DB if people are interested in this.

If not, would it be possible to open a chocobo forum or a separate forum for this? I imagine that once chocobo racing is implemented there *could* be a lot of new chocobo-related posts if it turns out to be super-awesome-amazing. (Or it could suck or nobody could care less, idk.. maybe I'm just excited >.>). But either way, it might be worth looking into right? ^^

This is a GREAT idea, admins should definitely add this! Also if theres anyway to impliment a system to see chocobo race winners when its released?

I came to this forum specifically looking to suggest a Chocobo Forum. I do strongly feel that it's needed. As it is now, if I want to discuss chocobos, I don't even know which board to look on... Chocobos are being discussed under General Discussion, Mission and Quest Discussion, and even a few old threads under Trade Skill Discussion. Even if we don't get a chocobo board, which I do believe we need, I think we should at least be told where to put all of our chocobo posts.

Woah XD Sorry Pikko I didn't check this forum for a few days.

I'll write up a section and have someone put it into HTML (I don't do tech-stuff... just content >.>), and have it to you as soon as possible.

Is there anything that I haven't listed that anyone wants to see included? I know Pikko has gardening fairly well covered in other places, but I was thinking perhaps some quick links for chocobo-specific gardening (maybe just a link to Pikko Pots ^^) or something.
