If MMOI is now part of the Zam.com network and you are going to be officially linking it at the top of the style sheet would it be possible to have my premium block the advertising on that site?

Funny you should post this just now bodhisattva, since i just finished posting this. We're working on it and we hope to have it in place soon. Yes, your membership here will apply to the MMOI sites as well. :)

So you can make my premium transfer over and get rid of advertising, but it counts for absolutely nothing else on the site. In fact I have to set up a completely different user account to participate? How quaint.

You might want to do something about that, I don't need to have an ogaming account to use the new alla LOTRO site (which is the old ogaming site), why have it different for MMOI?

Each of the interface sites are self contained and never had an ogaming login. You registered per interface site.

There are many reasons for this and the biggest is that way each community can be self contained and the load that may be on one site wont effect another with out it getting too complex. If we were to switch over to allakhazams user database it would basically mean we start from scratch re-write the backend and have every one re-upload the thousands of addons/interfaces we have.

What is planned at the moment (may change) is a page premium members can visit on the interface sites that allows them to enter their allakhazam login/pass and it will flag your interface account as premium.

We are also working on new features for the interface sites that will only be available to premium members. We are currently working things out and seeing what can be done.

No, it is not the old ogaming site, it is brand new coding everything from scrath. And why do we not have a db yet? Because it is all getting coding from scratch. We simply copied some editorials and guides with copy/paste.

MMOI doesn't run on Alla's servers, and we don't run on theirs, but what we are doing is trying to make it more efficient and pleasurable for old grouches like you. [:gring:]
