Is there a way to change a rating you've made?Follow

What I mean is, say I accidentally rated down a post when I meant to rate them up, or vice versa. Is there any way to change the rating I've given that post? I use my mouse wheel to scroll web pages and sometimes I've accidentally scrolled a post to awful when they deserved better, or rated them excellent when I was actually trying to rate them under the filter. I only usually catch it after I've already scrolled all the way down and clicked the Rate Posts button (and I know why I do it, it's because sometimes I haven't deselected the dropdown menu for ratings, so when I roll my mouse wheel it scrolls through the rating choices as well as scrolling further down the page). Once I've rated someone, is that it? Or is there any way to fix a "misrate"?

As far as I know, there isn't. (I've done the same thing myself on a few occasions.) But in the end, I just don't worry about it too much. Chances are if it needs to be rated up or down, I won't be the only person rating. So while I may have stymied progress a bit, no real harm was done.

It's funny you should mention this sab, I was thinking about it last night. Have one of the categories as, "Remove-rate."

I don't think you should be able to rate again after removing the rate, but at least you removed something that never should have happened.

I've done the same exact thing, and I would agree it would be nice to fix.

Yes, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter but you always feel like a tool when you rate an amazing post as awful, or troll bait as excellent. >.<

Just rate another one of that user's posts in the opposite direction. Simple.

Well, I'm not really asking because of their karma, I'm asking because of the message itself. I accidentally rated one of Dynastey's stupid posts above the filter when I was trying to get it below the filter. I've also put people below the filter accidentally when I didn't mean to once or twice. That's why I was wondering. :)
