EQ2 Forum DifferentiationFollow

We need multiple EQ2 forums. To be more specific, the ideas I discussed here. You'd have;

General EQ2 Forum
EQ2 Quest Forum
EQ2 Tradeskills Forum
EQ2 Fighter Forum
EQ2 Scout Forum
EQ2 Mage Forum
EQ2 Priest Forum

This would help cut organize the EQ2 forums much more efficiently, without going overboard a la FFXI and having so many forums that they're never used.

The other thing that I would like to see would be to have the EQ2 forums moved up in the list somewhat, but that's not as huge of an issue at the moment.

I also agree. And that's rare, because I don't generally agree with what RP says.

I'll talk to Alla and see what forums we feel would most benefit.

I agree on the Archetypes for sure.

Just one thing that's kind of confusing me...

What would we discuss in "General" then? We might want to leave something there. :D

General could be answering the questions for people who just bought the game, because that will be for a month or so yet. Also talk about what they did on the last patch, something that made you angry while playing, and perhaps how Freeport > Qeynos?

lol, j/k bout the last one. But that would be a good start for general I think.

The only problem that I've found when forums are split up too much is that there ends up being not much of anything that fits into a "general" category. But of course people will keep posting things there that a forum is for, and then people get their pants in a bunch about it.

But as it stands, most topics fly past so fast that it's clear we need more of a break down. :)

People will still ask questions in the General Forum. It will be specifically maintained for people asking OT questions and people ******** that there are Forums specifically setup for the question they asked.

You know, those kind of threads...

Well, I think Allakazham is aware that you can't please everyone. It's still a nice addition. :)
