Whenever you edit a post, it doesn't come up as the new post. It stays that way for about 20 seconds or so. Most people will edit it again, and again, until it comes up. It then has "This post was edit...," 5 times.

Not a major problem at all, just though I would point that out.

There is also a bit of slowness of posting again. That 6 hour re-vamp day, hasn't effected it in a good way, well at least for me.

One last problem, when I made a couple threads, after I posted it, it showed up to me as titel "@#$$%%%@@^@^#^^#^^%^&%*@" and the entire post was messed up.

Happens every so often.

edit: it happened again, its says SCALAR(0x9ebd2c)
as title and a blank post.

Last night I wasn't able to post at all, or, rather, none of the posts were actually showing up in the forum... They are now, though.

Next time you get the SCALAR thing, view the source code in your web browser, copy it to a blank notepad document, and email it to Illia. He's been trying to track down what causes that one for a while, but he needs to page's source code to do it and I haven't gotten that error to come up again since he asked.

<nod> I've gotten it before too. But when you get it, use your browser's "view source" function (in IE it's under "View" and simply says "Source"... MS isn't big on original thinking). That will open up all of the base HTML for the page. In other words, you'll get a text representation of all the programming on the page instead of seeing the page in its formatted version. Here's an example of the source info for this page:

Allakhazam.com wrote:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html> <head>
<style type="text/css">
</style>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/style.css" title="Style">
<title>Allakhazam.com: Final Fantasy XI</title>
</head>
<body topmargin=0 leftmargin=0 rightmargin=0 bottommargin=0>
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%">
<tr>
<td colspan=2 background="/images/top_page_ffxi.jpg"><img src="/shared/transp.gif" width=1 height="106"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><img src="/images/row_2_01_ffxi.jpg" width="244" height="24" border="0"></td>
<td background="/images/row2_02_ffxi.gif" width="100%"><img src="/shared/transp.gif" width="1" height="24"></td>
</tr>
</table>

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td><img src="/images/row_3_01_ffxi.jpg" width="244" height="16" border="0"></td>
<td bgcolor="#121935" width="100%" height="16">
<table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 width="100%">

That's the raw HTML code for the "post message" page for this thread, or at least the first little bit of it. What Illia needs is that entire source code for the "SCALAR" page, so that he can see where all that junk is coming from. I haven't gotten that particular error in about a month so I haven't been able to capture the source for him, but if you get it then save all that source code and email it to him and hopefully he'll be able to back-track and find out what in the programming is causing it.

You know you can delete those during editing, and then only have one "edited" line included in the final post....
