I removed the old static pages since they were a real pain in the butt to update.

But feedback is what I'm after! What exactly did you like about the old system? If I added a new dynamic page that just listed all the expansions, would that do it? Or do you miss the map?

now that EQ2 site is live I can dedicte more time to it. I can have the default Zone... link go to a page that looks a lot like the old one but ties into the new system

mainly we had to rip out the old system since it was static, hard to link to, and impossible to get data from for other pages since it wasn't databased

would be nice. I liked the expansion tabs in the sidebar too, but understand if you don't want to bring those back for space reasons.

Yeah, every time a new expansion came out it just took up more and more real estate. with Omens of War, it was taking up more sidebar space than anything else, which was way overboard, really. I know zone listings were useful, but they shouldn't get more space than equipment or quests.

I'm also working on revamping it so they'll have all the data they previously had, but that'll take a couple days of sitting down and copying data around manually. Also I'm putting in eqatlas links to each one. The dynamic system has a lot more potential, but it's just a skeleton at the moment. I had to stop working on it to get the EQ2 site out in time, but I can give it some more love in a day or two when EQ2 calms down a bit.

Rewrote the map page to use the new system and made it the default choice when you clicked on the "Zones..." link on the template

I think I've fixed all of the bad links between other pages and zones now. Any other suggestions other than adding in all the zone notes?
