This is just a quick suggestion to try and help stop the posts about Karma and trolls.
Why not make the system so you can only rate down if you post in the topic?

Even doing that will not eliminate all of the karma camping/trolling. It may lessen it, and it's not a horrible idea.

it's ok to rate every post by a person in a thread.
it's ok to rate every post a 1.0 in a thread you think sucks.
personally, on just about every thread ever posted here saying "please nuke this", I go through and rate down all the people bumping it.
