the bulk of the info there is good, I don't see anthing providing a onestep script kiddy "bot", they're mostly talking about alice after all.

Ahh, ok. I posted this right after Informant started posting the stuff about his first try at making one. Was right before all the Alice talk.
I have a friend sort of grasped the idea of how to make a bot off a post made a long time ago that was nuked quick. Friend got banned from FFXI about a week later =P
Just wanted to nip it in the bud before he started getting in more detail.

In the past, generally bot threads that truly link to, or tell you how to actually create a bot will get karma-nuked pretty fast by most of us who post there, I wouldn't worry about it too much. And I think actual admins on the forums in the past have gone and edited out any direct bot stuff (links, how-to's) so it gets caught fast.
