It seems that the forum system is confusing the less-than and greater-than symbols in the subject line of threads. Not a horribly disruptive bug, but personally I hate it when people don't report my bugs to me.

The title of this post, as I typed it, is, "Minor forum bug: reversal of < and > in thread subjects"

I discovered this after posting this: http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/jobs.html?fjob=2&mid=108787185458721223&num=11

Another example is this one: http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/jobs.html?fjob=2&mid=1087600221812283485&num=15

Hmm. Well, it's showing the escape sequence instead of the actual characters in this case - maybe because I did a preview before posting. Nonetheless, the escape sequences shown are, in fact, reversed from the original text.

For the most part, I like this forum, by the way. Please don't take this as a criticism, but rather a small attempt to help make it even better. :)

That is by design, to stop people from putting html in subject lines.

Fixed the reversal, still trying to nail down the duplication of amp; tags.
