I tried to get the source but I was spammed off and got a IE needs to restart error. There is a malicious pop-up on this site (whats new) that just opened about 500 windows and craped my comp out. By looking at the link it looked like it was a redirect. Hope this helps.

I have had several people say they get a malicious popup like that, but try as I may I cannot duplicate it. I have a theory though. Do you live outside the U.S.? I know some advertisers target ads by country. Maybe this is an ad targetted somewhere I would not get it. I have to know the source before I can ban it.

Good thinking. If you can determine a country that is being affected, we can check it by proxy server.
