New Bazaar Forum (FFXI)Follow

Hello, this is my first post for a suggestion/feedback heh so here goes:

Proposal for a New FFXI Bazaar Forum

This forum will help us to trade things with other players more efficiently. Sometimes you have this particular item but it just hangs around the Auction House for too long, you know someone out there is willing to buy your stuffs but you just don't know who. Maybe by posting your sales in the Bazaar Forum, people can arrange a meeting online and trade. This way, waiting time for items to be sold will reduce, and you can sell more things in a shorter span of time.

This will benefits many other crafters too. For example, those with Gils to burn/power level the crafting skills, they can make a huge quantity of those crafted items, and not sell them to NPC at below cost price with only a pathetic 7 stacks out of 30 stacks items made waiting to be sold at the auction house. This way crafters can get replenish their capital and continue burning, while same time the buyers of the crafted items can put those stuffs to good/desired use. Insect Paste goes out of stock? silver ingots are overpriced? Perhaps you can turn to the forum.

Morever, for those adventurers who started on Oct 28th, most of them are level 50+ and above already. Sometimes the good items never appear on the AH? Your level 40 gears are taking longer to sell because your auction house is maxed already? Perhaps the forum could be the solution.

I'm not sure if this will really work that well, but generally I think this idea could be quite beneficial for some of us (imo ^^)

This is a cool idea, lizzy has my support.

I noticed that there is a Classifieds section for Everquest, but none for FFXI. Is this in the works? I have been debating recently about whether or not to get a paid account here. The only good reason I can see right now is to show support for hthe forum. But, I spend time here to help the people visiting the forum with info they might find relevent to the game. I use it for the information on quests and items, etc. So what is my incentive? Smilies and an avatar? Meh! Maybe in 6th grade that might have attracted me! Do you have any good reason(s) why I would want to fork over my $30 / year?

(Note: If allakhazam was in dire need of money, all the good data would be pay-only, but that would go against the goal of the forum I assume)





In a nutshell, what are these "number of very nice additional features".
