Can you alter level sync so we can just set the level we want our character to be at? Its getting tough to do so, as there are usually just 1-40 people below 99 on any job. It makes it tough get Trial weapons done etc...and as a BST it would just be fun to play old camps (ie, want to just solo kill stuff for variety, oh lvl 55 camp in Bos. Obli or lvl 72 camp in sky, etc...) . Looking for more ways to still play the game...

Cheers.

Cause you twitch and whine, the game is diminished. Yes, we are now playing FFXI-Lite.

I'm sure some will argue against the idea, but at this point, I don't really see the harm. Rift allows self-level setting via Mentoring with the only restrictions being it must be 5+ levels below your current and can't go under level 10. FFXI adopting similar when solo wouldn't bug me any.

Would also bridge some camps for people who find solely leveling in Gusgen or Crawler's Nest dreadfully boring. Ever since monster distribution in the old area's got changed some levels required grinding out monsters not suitable for your level.

I for one would welcome it for Trials. There's plenty of stuff that only has one camp at 99 for the element you're after, if any.

With the age of the game and the state of the playerbase they'll pretty much have to do this at some point, although knowing SE they'll add some annoying wrinkle to it. I definitely support the idea.

I'd like to voice my support for this idea.

Agreed. I think it is a great alteration to Level Sync that would be very helpful for many reasons. I fully support it and hope to see it in the future.

No reason not to. Would make life so much easier - and groups wouldn't have to fall apart because the sync has to leave. Doesn't happen terribly often, but it's happened enough that I got flashbacks of when the PLD or the RDM would have to leave and no one could find a rep (or wanted the options available).

They summon fireballs and fart lightning. From their eyes.
Even thinking about them makes enemies explode.
Having one in your PT is like a free ticket to defeat Absolute Virtue.
That's the reason why only one of them is allowed in PvP. Per server.
Imagine a cross-breed between Allakhazam and Sun Zu. That's a Black Mages's toenail.
