Okay, so right now I have a Ps2 and have been playing on that but I want to now start playing on my PC when I'm not at home. I need some help with what I should do, I have been told to just buy the downloadable version to my PC, but if I do this and I get the new collection will I have the rest of my expansion on my Ps2 as well when I play on that?

If you had the available physical disk expansions for PS2 (RoZ, CoP, ToAU, WotG), then yes, you'll have all your expansion content available on the PS2 even if you purchase the Abyssea Collection for PC. Abyssea is DLC on the PS2 and the codes will transfer across characters in between platforms.

However, if you're missing any of the disk based expansions for PS2, you will not be able to access the Abyssea DLC content on your PS2 as it requires all four disk expansions. You will only be able to play those on your PC edition.

You will get a destrier hat as well if you don't have one that makes level 1 to 30 much easier.

It's sold on Amazon and directly from SE in their store as well, so no, Steam is not the only one that sells it.
