Hello Square Enix, there's an issue you really need to look into.
After thinking about it and discussing it with many people for awhile I have come to the realization that the Empyrean Feet Armor Acquisition is not working as intended and that it needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
Right now, you can buy the base level Empyrean Head Armor and Empyrean Leg Armor from NPC's with very little effort at all, however to obtain the Empyrean Feet Armor you have to kill monsters in certain abyssea zones for Gold Chests and the Empyrean Feet Armor is what appears and is agreed to be about a 2% drop out of these. Furthermore, which job comes from that 2% drop is completely random.
Now, I know the seals are suppose to be a bit tougher to obtain and that's fine, but getting the base Empyrean Feet Armor should be easier than this and it makes absolutely no sense how you acquire it compared to the other two pieces. When I think about it I know surely this can not be part of the planned design behind it and that it's suppose to be coming from a NPC some where but that perhaps it wasn't added and coded in properly.
There is just surely no way that the Empyrean Head and Empyrean Leg base armor would be so absolutely painless to obtain while the Empyrean Feet Armor are so absolutely incredibly difficult and frustrating to obtain in comparison.
From the way Trial of the Magians has been handled so far, to the fact of the Empyrean Head and Empyrean Leg pieces acquisition, to the fact that I can see Square Enix is trying to give people the first bits of armor easily so they can simply start working on the difficult trials to upgrade them, that the system for the Empyrean Feet Armor is not working as intended and needs addressing.
