Please fix the new ward.
We pay 90 MP for 250+ HP stoneskin for 15 min, but are expected to pay 150 MP for schurzen effect for 3(?) min. When the first requires you to be hit once, the other require you to be hit once near death. If you get 15 min duration to cover for the fact you might not get hit often, it would be nice if Earthen Armor was 15 min too so you actually get some kind of long term protection.
That is assuming I've understood the BP correctly. If it were something like damage reduction, I sure haven't seen it trigger once in 50 uses. But I do know that the short duration made me watch people die 10 times in an abyssea session when the Ward wasn't up due to having worn off shortly before.
To give an example, this is like if you made RR spells last 3 minutes. Nobody would use them because they wear so much faster than the event they are supposed to protect against happens. (Exception would be BRD hymnus, but that is kind of meant to be cast while things go bad. It doesn't see much use though except for holding NMs with repeated pulling and death)
Thanks for the new Ward. Now kindly make it have a purpose outside dumb luck.
(I wouldn't have minded attack down BP to also be noticable. Used it on monsters and nobody out of 18 members could tell if it did anything... might as well have used +defense on the party since attack/defense changes mean nothing)
PS. Crimson roar is still too short to ever be used.
PPS. Spirits still serve no purpose except Siphon MP batteries. Exception being Light Spirit that casts haste and regen and shell on you when you have 50/1200 HP. AI fix time soon?
