Hey Guys: My baby was born last night and so I thought I'd share her first picture!

So needless to say, Lonebadger's gonna be hanging out in his moghouse for a long time while I'm getting used to being a Big Daddy.

Congrats.

Newborns are cute, kinda like Pugs

Good thing though, my highschool health teacher told us that babies were supposed to be like that when born, and real "Cuteness" in a baby is a sign of down syndrome.

(No idea if she was right or wrong, but really, babies are not the prettiest things when born).

Hmmm. That's very true. She looked better and hour later when she was snuggled up against Momma. (Better not let momma see your post though otherwise she'll never let me post to this board again! You oot guys are harsh! Smiley: lol)

Wasn't trying to be harsh, Pugs are great. They help us fight off alien invaders.

I do remember my health teacher telling us her kid was ugly when born though. Something about an egg shaped head (since it gets all squishy and stuff during birth).

Over one day old, hopefully she has a name. (Isn't that usually planned beforehand, ready at birth?)

Some people wait longer.

Some people wait until just before kindergarten, but they're insane.

Yep, we got a name. She's Sarah. Sarah shares a nursery with a couple of no-names but at least the nurses know who I'm talking about when I ask to see my baby.

Anyway, I gotta head back now that I've eaten and had a hot shower. Be gentle with her! Remember: newborns need to have their head supported while you hold them (and not compared to crime-fighting dogs from outer-space...)

It appears that you are no longer a lone badger; you are now papa badger! Congratulations.

Although, I'm a little hurt that you didn't name her PunkFloyd.

More like LAST time today for that one.

Depending on your time zone, of course.
