Um, my father, right in the balls as well.

One of her semi-joking last wishes was to be cremated and spread on my father lol

You said you were drunk, not stupid. That takes most of the fun out of it. Smiley: frown

Yea, well, sorry, but my brain still functions mostly when I drink, just my emotions take a vacation. Call it a curse!

Fair enough.

I'm playing hide and seek with a 4 year old. Where should I hide?

I locked the other thread because a couple people decided to take it upon themselves to see what words haven't been added to the filter but should be added and are certanly not ones that should be thrown around in OOT, and they all had sufficient post count to know better.

Sorry for your loss, don't pickle yourself.

It was an innocent conversation about cats, nothing deviant. Smiley: tongue

Also, I hope your hangover isn't too bad Pawke.

My liver now hates me, but my blood is mostly normalized. Luckily room is rather dark.

The loss of that thread just drove me over the edge man!!!! LOL

More seriously I got why the other thread was likely locked, just seemed like a good drunk thread topic starter. And thank you for the concern and condolences. I am not soaking in brine, so the pickling stopped at some point.

it will be bad, I think I still have enough in my system to not entirely feel just how bad yet, but yea, going to be a rough @#%^ing morning... Getting water now, then pills, then more sleep.

Oh and Ari, thread was not terrible due to its contents rather the lack of more posts for drunk me to read. Awesome posts to make good use of drunk me's time. I do miss my mom, so reading these back mainly sober is nice.

One more double post to cap this drunk thread off. Wood chipper? Really drunk Pawk? You're an *** sometimes, especially when you try to be funny.

Now to cap this off, let me try to salvage the awesome thread Ari was trying to get made here.

My mom was the type to wear funny T-Shirts, and give them to people. Typically they were all rude and crass, much like she was. My mom never sugar coated her opinion, so what you saw/heard with her was what you got. I try to emulate that as much as possible, but I can't say that I am nearly as open and honest as she was at all times, yet. I am honest with those I know and trust, but mom would tell anyone straight what was on her mind.

She used to love to bike ride a lot. My older siblings used to give her **** though. Her bike had a basket on it, similar to the Wicked Witch. So they'd always be doing that theme when she'd go for a ride. She was not guiltless in our family tradition of harassment, though. My mom would have been an epic Internet troll. My sister recently turned 50, and throughout the year, mom kept sending her gifts about her being over the hill. Mugs, t-shirts, cards... pretty much anything she could find.

My mom loved to crochet. And she was amazingly talented at it. For example, she had a pattern for a baby blanket with trains, but it wasn't working out, the pattern was flawed. So mom did what she always did, she fixed it. She pulled out graph paper, and remapped the whole pattern herself. She also did tons of baby clothes for all her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She loved chocolate, and on her last visit here, we made sure to get her some of the best chocolate I personally have ever had. I had wanted to send her some for her upcoming birthday, but we know how that ended up working out.

Sorry for any offence caused, but keep in mind that anything said was intended with sarcastic mirth, rather than actual meanspiritedness.
