Yea I dunno. We're still talking and going out for dinner and drinks/dancing Friday night so who knows at this point. I'm about 99% sure she knows I'd be down for a relationship. So I don't know if your statement is accurate. To be continued....

You know, if she were planning on drugging you and harvesting your organs for sale on the Chinese black market, that would be the ideal time. I hear that happens sometimes.

Purely anecdotal, but I'd disagree. Lutherans are incredibly dull people, but stereotypically industrious. Doing work for the church was considered just as important as doing the work of the church. My church had a lot of work days, and while some of it charitable work a good portion was just cleaning and maintaining the church. Made our own stain glass window, did our own roofing, and after I left the congregation built a new wing. Then there were the meetings. I there's anything those people could claim to love more than a god it was bureaucracy.
1000x this.

I'm just glad I never did the confirmation classes, so there's still some plausible dependability there if necessary.

I got confirmed. Not technically in the eyes of god I suppose as I'd never gotten baptized, but the church didn't know that.

Oh, they knew. They just wanted to see how long you would try to lie to God.

The church I went to initially baptized soon after birth (3ish months?), conformation classes were for the young adults. One of those things that varies quite a bit?

I was born in an atheist state, so they just did the baptism later on after we moved West.

Ha, perhaps. We ended up talking/hanging out quite a bit after my last post. Seeings that we've been dating for about 3 months now I foolishly told her that I loved her the other day. She didn't say she didn't, but she didn't say she did. Haven't really talked much since. Perhaps we can finally close this thread. Smiley: smile

Nope, but maybe the least interesting.

There's usually no point in locking threads unless you are trying to quell a riot, annoy someone, or locking it to prevent an auto spammer from replying to it. I could however be persuaded to change the thread title to include the word "carbon" without too much persuasion...

Hah, not even close.

Until she comes here and starts posting what an *** you are, and we learn that she's cheating on you with Kuwoobie, and then a three-way forum battle ensues and you steal her lap-top and we all get to pick sides and heckle you and then when all is said and done she goes off and marries the Kuwoobie and makes pokemon babies.

Then when she decides she really loves you and not the Kuw and comes running back into your arms and you have big hugs and tears and become the surrogate dad to Kuwoobie's offspring.....then you have a story.

For bonus points, make sure one of you is a guild leader in an MMORPG and the other is the top-geared healer.

I agree, threads are really more fun when someone is sleeping with the guild leader; preferably several someones. Try to work that in if possible please.

Thanks. Smiley: grin

Well they wouldn't be the top-geared healer if they weren't storming the cotton gin with the guild leader.

I would concur that it's the least interesting.

At least throw her down some stairs to make it final... or as some form of flirtation.

Throwing girls down stairs as a way of flirting only works on a select group of batsh*t crazy women.

Assuming they're not spending their time wheelchair or body cast of course, but even then you'd think they'd be the ones with the know how to make the most out of that situation.
