Anonymous needs a custom title.

Maybe Anonymous already does, but you can't see it, like Anonymous itself.

Anonymous posting was one of our early strengths, and it definitly led to higher population levels, but the admining overhead on trying to manage it and keep out spammers and the like got impossible. FOrcing account creation at least slows them down long enough we can do something about it.

I've thought about putting in some sort of anonymous post "captcha" driven posting ability, but I don't really know if it would be worth the trouble.

Looks like some sort of larvae; the movement is caterpillar-esque. Beyond that I have no clue what sort of tropical horror-bugs you might have.

Oh, that one is easy to identify. It's a smaller version of these babies.

Seriously though, based on this page it looks like it's just an armored moth larva.

Yeah, Thats a Armored Moth, possibly Hyposmocoma molluscivora if you are on Maui. They eat snails and can be amphibious. In a few months it will turn into the most gawdawful big legged spider looking moth you will ever see.

Oh! it's like a Hermit crab, only it's a Hermit Catapillar! In cunning seabed/leaf mould disguise. Or perhaps more like a snail-catapollar.

And the adult moth is adorably fuzzy! It's really cute. Like a moth teddy bear. *nod*

I would so pet it! I love insects and spiders. At work, I don't let anyone kill anything. I catch what ever it is and put it outside. My co-worker thinks I am a bit off. The larva stage looks so cute!

I'm terrified of googling a picture of it but at the same time, I can hardly resist the urge to do so.

Maybe as an Australian I have a different relationship to insects than the normal run of human beings. So, um, yes?
