Yeah, you read that right, a machine that "prints" 3D chocolate sculptures/images.
Shame it's almost £2.5k, I'd love to have one of those.

Also, in before printing chocolate penises.

I'm amazed they're selling them. They could keep them and subjugate the masses.

Boo, got my hopes up for nothing. I thought it could make chocolate statues, but it's only good for jewelry sized pieces.

Or I can buy a block of chocolate and try to whittle it down myself.

I want to see the agonized expression on my chocolate's face as I slowly devour it.

My mill could carve a chocolate statue! I suppose a simple makerbot ~300ish could print chocolate, but you would have to do some really crazy engineering on the print head to get that to work...

There are a lot of folks screwing around with RepRap extruders to make chocolate whatevers.

Until they figure out how to use caramel, screw edible 3D printers.

It looks like a syringe fixed to an NC of some sort. So I'd imagine you could use Chocolate to create a pattern, do a "tool change" and then fill the pattern with a caramel as well.

Of course, I've only glanced at the images and not read anything about it.

The best part of getting chocolate Easter Bunnies is the look of shock in their eyes as you slowly devour them starting at the ears.

Perhaps if you built some kind of rudimentary lathe?

Seems pretty cool, I love the idea of 3D printing in general, but it's still quite a way off from being priced for the consumer level and also having a good enough resolution for printing (i.e. it usually looks a bit jaggedy). I also have no skills in 3D CAD design, so not much use to me, but I'll help eating it :)
