Why can't we keep our titles when we loose our ratings? We did earn them before things went south.

any way for us to modify which color our names appear when posting besides changing the site skin? I've always wanted a red name, but I didn't care about lolkarma enough to try and get sage before the FFXI skin got changed and the sage/guru colors reversed, and now I care about lolkarma even less. FFXI's skin is the only skin that gets all my regular forums and doesn't make my eyes bleed.

Some of the changes already went live. A few of the other ones are still pending developer availability, but most of them are there. The more major ones were targetted at newer accounts.



"I" never even got the damned magazine. That was officially the worst promotion ever, and it wasn't entirely our fault as the magazine company was ran by idiots.

We get enough spammers that I could feed it one of those a day forever and never run out. Though i'd have to watch the chinese spammers. too many of those and the dragon would just be hungry an hour later.

Lets see, for me there have been memorable forum events over the years, but limiting it to just Admin related ones, there are a few that stand out in particular. Getting admin in the first place was awsome of course, especially since it was not something I applied for per say. Allakhazam E-mailed me, said "hey, we need a forum admin, you're it" and the rest is, as they say, history. Then there are the usual other firsts. You never forget your first ban. Mine was an everquest II Plat spammer. Then there are the various backchannel things that go on, everything from law enforcement involvement in certain poster ineractions, to marriage counseling for a couple pissed off SWG players... Some have been sad memories, the first time we lost a foum poster to an automobile accident, the ones you just don't know about and wonder years later about. The Godraiden saga. Maybe the first time someone in game recognized me and said "hey, you're that jerk admin from Allakhazam right?"

There have been many memorable events. Some infamous, some inevitable. Seeing the forum reel after 9/11. The polerization when the site was sold. The server outage years. Allanois and meeting posters. It's been quite the ride, thats for sure.
