This should probably be in the feedback forum.
There are many roles within a successfull forum. Sometimes the role is that of the person who irritates others into posting for spite. Too many of those can destabilize things. Not enough of them can lead to a dead forum.

Yeah, maybe. The thing is, it helps if they're intelligent. People reply to Tailmon due to overwhelming disdain.
The predictable complaints about Tailmon are far more annoying than anything Tailmon has ever done.

People aren't beating down Tailmon because she deserves it, they're beating down on Tailmon because they're bored. Tailmon gave people an opportunity by making a few bad posts and then made the mistake of emotionally reacting, thus she became punching bad of the month/week (however long these fads last).
So now a bunch of posters go through the routine of pretending <punching bag of the month> is the worst thing since sliced suck. Except no one can actually say <PBotW> is the worst poster ever, because that would be making them special and significant, so instead they have to be made of mediocre fail, which is actually the worst kind of fail.
Most of the jokes and negative comments are interchangeable. It's a boring situation to anyone who has seen the template enough to know it exists.

There's a difference though. A person can escape being the punching bag of the month by being somewhat decent (*coughIknowfromexperiencecough*). Tailmon continues to put herself in that position, however. I'm inclined to believe she really is cognitively disabled and honestly doesn't understand what she's doing to herself.

some people catch on more quickly than others but the forums do go through "**** of the month" nominees rather quickly. Most don't stick around (like sharpie girl and pseudo lesbian who's "boyfriend" drank bleach).
