I feel great. I'm not totally exhausted. I have cold beer, plenty of cigs to get through the weekend, and a hard drive full of games and music. I guess I could be social but I'd rather let my section stew over my final words. The last thing I heard as I walked away was "Did he just call us twatwaffles? What the **** does that even mean?"

Enjoy your weekend of nerd decadence and self-abuse.

And be sure to call your section something equally interesting on your return.

Company I work for decided that it's time to lay off some of the Engineering staff. Since the beginning we've had zero engineering lay offs, and every other department has seen 50-70% reductions. (We had a VERY small engineering staff to begin with).

I'm 95% sure I won't be laid off. But I'd imagine this weekend is going to suck because who ever they do lay off, the burden will shift from them to the rest of us.

The Taliban hate us for our four day weekends. Feeding the flames of hate is what war is all about, isn't it...? *Runs off to reread that whole "hearts and minds" crap agenda*

I'll work both days. I still have €85 to make on top of my normal profit because I took three days off last weekend, and Tuesday. (I made like €10 extra yesterday/today, plus €20 for investments).

I'm thinking I'm going to rent Monty Python and the Holy Grail this weekend, might even get Eurotrip. My copy of Eurotrip was borrowed by my brother and never returned. Smiley: mad Maybe some margaritas and moving our bedroom to the new room.

If you're really a fan of the Holy Grail, you need to buy a copy, preferably the Collector's Ed with the Lego Camelot.

I thought about buying it. I've not seen the Lego Camelot, wonder if they have it at Hastings.
