Vag pictures have an unfortunate habit of making it's way around the internet. Plus, I just would be so embarrassing. I never lived down that tape from college all during college. I'm only thankful that no one watches VHS anymore. :P

Now I'm too prudish.

Smiley: schooled

How would you explain good cholesterol vs. evil cholesterol to a slow 5 year old?

Well, you see Timmy, cholesterol is a lot like the Transformers. There's a type of cholesterol like the Decepticons, which tries to do bad stuff to your heart and circulatory system, which is like a giant highway. The other type of cholesterol is like the Autobots because with enough of it around, it can keep the bad guys from doing bad things. Good or bad, however, you can't have too much for either because you'll run out of room on the highway and bad things will happen to it anyway.

Of course, there's more to it than that. There are also these things called triglycerides. They're kinda like the Dinobots in the way that I don't know much about them or what they wanna do. All I know is every once in a while I hear cries of "Me Triglyceride, KING!" in news reports. I think they might breathe fire.

Now be a good boy and bring daddy his fried chicken. Daddy's worried that there aren't enough decepticons and the Autobots are bored.

Bunny equals the 5 year old, change that to "care bears" "No-heart and beastly" and instead of dinobots "care bear cousins" and she might get it.

I didn't draw anything.

ALSO: Pensive, if you continue to fail to capitalize my name, I will be forced to draw your Dingpic with a micropenis and an Hitler moustache.

Just sayin'...

I'm under the impression that genetics can also play a role. My cholesterol has always been low as is my blood pressure (which while preggo with Suki and living off of chipotle made my OB's eyeballs spin.) I had a friend in college who worked out for an hour a day, ate pretty healthy and still had sh*tty cholesterol.

The paper work I got though had 180 as the upper range of good, so 180+ was time to see the doctor.

Heart disease runs on my mom's side. Not a single great aunt lived past the age of 64. Creepy.

My mom is on meds to help with her cholesterol. Now I am not usually superstitious, but Mom turns 64 in a week.

I kinda meant I was the child, but its actually really good information. Thank you. My kids will be able to better understand while we plan meals for the shopping list.

since it appears to be genetic, don't beat yourself up over it. You couldve been vegan and probably still had issues :/
