. . . was Canonised by the lolPope on 6th May 1962.

A good day - His holiness must've thought "Ahh. Nobby was born today. Let's canonise some loser dominican monk to divert attention from the future poster extraordinnaire".

So anyway. About me.

It's my birthday.

My parents allowed me to stay up late to watch the moon landings on our new 12" Black and White TV.

One of the earliest reading memories I have is of The Times hailing Nixon as the new hope for the western world.

I had a hueg liek x-box Crush on Joan Collins.

While at University in Spain, I watched the 1st Indiana Jones movie.

Yes. I am that old.

But take heart, dear Arsylumites. Even though I'm ancient and out of fashion, I'm fighting off women with a Shitty stick. Go Me.

Now reply with random crud that no-one will read and hit the green arrow, for the CJ is begun!

GFY!

Well, that exaplains your cynicism.

Have a good one, Nobby.

It's past midnight in the UK, where Nobby is, so it's May 6th there. He's in the future.

Also, the way people talk, I thought you were way older. You're not even 50...yet. Happy birthday, though. :D

Edit: Slow poster is slow. Oh well.

I love you because you are older than me (not by much). Of course, I am not shaking women off with sticks either, something the hubby probably regrets.

Happy happy!

How observant.

She bought me an iPhone, a week in a hotel in a 5* island off the African coast, a gourmet meal tonight, and she swallowed.

I'm hoping she kept my real present as a surprise for tonight.

Happy birthday Nobby :)

Did you know you share your birthday with George Clooney , Sigmund Freud, and Orson Wells. Maybe sometime I can tell you my dreams, and you can translate them in some sci-fi mother-loving kind of a way .

Many happy returns,xx

I remember reading about a break in at the Watergate by two no name Metro Reporters. Staying up til 3am to watch Neil Armstrong step off a ladder on to the surface of the Moon was one of the better things I remember that year.

I just now have an real excuse to why I won't get up and dance. Not that what kids my age were calling dancing, if they didn't care for DiscoSmiley: glare

Glorious trivialities on your birthday.

I'm sure any digital gift will never beat the pony you fondled as a child.
