I'm guessing she will drag out the "Bring it On" franchise a little more before flashing her boobies

I'm glad I never wasted a minute of my life watching those movies. But, I don't want to see her in anything unless its her bare *** in my kitchen cooking me eggs and wearing my shirt. Whoever auditioned that talentless hack should be dragged out the back door of the studio and kicked in the balls repeatedly until he's chewing on them like a wad of Big League gum.

It's on my DVR and I think ill go watch it now...

Be back in 45 minutes.

Awesome episode. I would be pissed if there weren’t services like www.hulu.com though. Apparently, American Idol ran long and my DVR cut off the last 2 minutes of Fringe so I had to go online.

Speaking of American Idol, my wife was watching AI one night and asked me who this guy in the audience was that the cameras were all over. It was the bald guy from Fringe and I just chuckled and explained.

Back to Fringe, every time I see Walter, I hear him as Denethor, Steward of Gondor screaming FLEE FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!

Ugh. That means it's probably cut off on mine, too. It's not the first time it's happened. As if I didn't already hate American Idol enough. Smiley: lol

Dunno which provider you have.. but I DVR every episode and Comcast didn't stop the recording until well after the previews of next week which I really appreciated. :)

Verizon FIOS. I've missed the previews the past couple of weeks (which I don't usually watch anyway), and it's cut off the end of one other episode that I can think of.

We don't have any type of DVR or TIVO, so I <3 Hulu.

I have Comcast and it has cut off Fringe on multiple occasions. The worst one was when it cut off the last 10 minutes of an episode with the serial killer who was kidnapping girls.

Yup. Hated that. Still don't know what happened with the little boy.

I reset my DVR to record an extra 15 minutes at the end of Fringe. Seems to have solved the problem. And for an added bonus I get to watch really horrible singing. Like in the aforementioned episode, when some guy who's apparently the forerunner managed to brutalize the song "mad world" and still got a standing ovation from Simon.

Am I the only one starting to suspect that Walter *is* Bell? I'm working up some split personality theory right now. After all, we've never seen Bell. No one has. Maybe he set things in motion 20 years ago and doesn't remember anything while in his Walter persona? Dunno. I'm actually enjoying that show a lot more than I thought after the first few episodes.

This is not the case. I will say no more to avoid spoilers.

My plot twist would undoubtedly have been better than whatever they come up with. Probably...

Right answer. Hulu's made me too lazy to illegally download most shows. I was a sucker for Kings, which I realize is really probably a terrible, terrible, show, but I was still disjointed it got pushed out to June (or maybe canceled outright, we'll see, I guess) after five episodes. I can't really fathom having a DVR. I'm usually all in favor of purpose built devices, but it's so trivially easy and cheap to record video on a PC that I really don't get that one. To me it would be like buying an actual purpose built word processing machine that exclusively provided that one function.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

So you're the other person that actually likes Kings. Smiley: lol

The only reason I have a DVR is because I got it free for 6 months. Of course, when the 6 months are up, I'll be so used to using it that I'll probably keep it. I've been recording the X-Files, which is on 3 nights a week at like 2AM. I watch them when nothing else is on. Smiley: lol I supposed I could just pirate or buy the DVDs, though.

Just watched the last 5 minutes of it again, he was spirited away by a social worker to a foster home. The CIA wasnt to happy about it. As they were driving to the foster home, The Watcher was on the same street and they locked eyes as the boy passed.

The convenience of having the scheduling come right off the cable box makes it worth the relatively small price IMO. Obviously, that doesn't always work when a program overruns or gets shifted at the last minute, but you'll have the same problem trying to record using any other method as well. I've dorked around with hooking a PC to my cable feed and recording that way, and while it works, it's not really much of an improvement over the old days of setting your VCR. Buggy and cumbersome. TIVO is essentially just a box that does that for you, with all the same problems. And honestly, if you're paying for a TIVO, why not just use a DVR?

Pulling feeds off the net works pretty well, and that's clearly the direction to go. It's just not quite there yet. There are a host of technical and legal reasons why this is so, but I've never seen the same quality and performance off a straight network feed as I've seen of a dedicated cable feed. As long as that remains the case, I'm perfectly ok with paying a few bucks a month to use a DVR.
