I think I'm doing quite well with crispy Bacon and French Toast w/ Raspberry Compote for dinner.

If you put peanuts in Ramen, it's like eating at white trash PF Chang's.

I made some apple compote once, and people were like "Isn't that just applesauce?" and I totally went hulk and smashed their faces in.

In all the years that BT has posted, that's one of the top five funniest things he's said.

You know, this didn't occur to me before but what is catt doing in starting college right now? Spring semester is almost done; are you starting as a summer student?

Also, you can make a large quiznos sub last for three days if you are economical about it, which is about 2.50 per day. That was often my prime choice of dining considering we had one in the Olympic village.

2.50 per day is a small budget?

Don't you get like 10 packs of ramen for $2.50?

Also, my current budget is about €3-4 per day, and I have Volvic water and raspberries and apples and ****.

A low point in my College Culinary experiences was mixing powdered creamer and water for my cereal. It was that or starve.

A high point was perfecting the Texas Tommy on the Foreman Grill.

Well I thought it was cheap.

I also probably made up for it by starving a lot of days.

I got a book called "101 Ramen Noodle Recipes" in college.

I think I ended up making maybe 6 of them?

They were quite good.

Edit: I want to make that into a haiku.

Book: "One-Hundred one
Ramen Noodle Recipes"
I only cooked six.

Thank you for the help
Without it I would be lost
Hmmm... pedant... define?

(Brb)

Aha! Now I see!
A pedant is overly
Concerned with grammar.

Nothing wrong with that
Summer heat weakens my brain
Keep up the good work!

Switch the word "grammar"
Out for "meaning" and you will

Technically speaking,
Rather, pedantically,
it means precision?

I remember living off of Country Time Lemonade Mix with Vodka and stealing our neighbors' ice cream, cigarettes and peanut butter. That's how I got through the lean times.

And homemade tortillas made with flour bought by the giant bag for something like $5 and the giant gallon bottle of oil. $12 will make enough tortillas for 2-3 weeks. Smiley: nod

Speaking of food, I spent about seven hours yesterday making chicken noodle soup. It was totally worth it.
