So For All FFXI Returnees...Follow
I haven't been playing any games which my hubby accepts but prefers if I am. He likes it when we do things together so that makes sense. I left FFXI years ago because I can't handle the team time sink (due to RL demands). We moved to WoW. Years later, I am bored by WoW. KOTOR has a while to be released and hubby convinced me to try FFXI again since we can solo stuff. It feels like a foreign language remembering everything. Anyone else experience this?

Sorry my bad, looking for cross-game return experiences. No worries.
I just recently quit FFXI, so I was feeling like I just had a **** ton of free time all of a sudden. It feels great, really.
This topic makes me want to start playing XI, just so I can feel good about myself when I quit.

Now I feel bad for not clearly expressing myself.
It's fine with some of us.
Others wouldn't be kind, though if this thread did remain merely talking about cross gaming returns, I think it would be allowed. There are also a lot of threads on =22 like this, but since that forum has like five regular posters, it would be silly.

I quit FFXI about 2 years ago, right before the newest x-pack. I remember when ToAU came out and BLM was a no no in parties, but where so badly needed at End Game stuff.
I know they have some odd roll-back/level set thing, but that would suck to stay at lvl 10-50 all the way til 75.

Same thing happened after I quit. Then about 4 months later I was so bored due to still having the same amount of free time, but nothing to do.

That's because it's already a very powerful job that is incredibly useful for every single aspect of the game except TP burn parties. The only things SE could do to make BLM more useful would also make it horrifically overpowered. Learn to live with it or play another job because it's not likely to get changed.

Hi, graduate from 2004 please; black mages are simply not as useful as you think. Also realize that it is exactly this kind of **** that is why talking about ffxi is banned in oot, and this is going to be my only response to you.

Actually I guess still lurking in the job forums might count as looking back. I am never going to reactivate my account though. I have too many other offline rpgs to play.

I'm so glad I'm done with FFXI, I feel so much better doing things in the sunlight.
