Question 1: What will happen when Jophiel reaches 100,000 posts?

Question 2: What kind of qualities tend to be beneficial (other than obvious ones like programming experience) to applications when open admin sections are available?

Question 3: Did Exo ever disclose to you his favorite type of cheese? He always used to avoid that question Smiley: motz.

What is the purpose of the check box above "Post Messsage" on a new thread that is also above "Add Signature" called "Parse Markup?"

I can leave it checked or unchecked and it doesn't seem to make a difference-- though I am not very observant.

Parse markup turns on or off markup tags. If you turn it off, the post looks something like this.

Edit: it is apperently not functional at the moment either.

So basically it enables someone to make a thread without it being able to be rated up or down? Is that why some people can make total fail threads that somehow remain "Decent?"

Also, is it possible for an admin to change the first letter in my name to a capitol "K" instead of a lowercase "k"? Smiley: um It was four years ago and I don't know what I was thinking.

I don't know that they do. one of the full timers would have to answer that. And no, we are still critically short on developers. We need at least 3 or 4 more.

1. NONE and I only know of ONE employee with insurance... *******.

it's not my fault I work for an evil quasi-socialist government job with good healthcare and dental! Besides I totally asked you to marry me in a loveless tax evasion scheme so I would pay less income tax and you would get health benifits, but you totally turned me down!

I actually have a question. What is the purpose of the "New Subject" button sandwiched in between the the "Thread Index" button and the "Reply to This" button on every thread? Obviously it's function is easy to decipher, it creates a new thread right then and there at the top of form you're viewing. But what's the practical purpose of it? That button is also why people usually post new topics that they never intended to post.

Wouldn't it be easier to remove the ability to start a new thread when viewing an existing one? I already know where the new topic button is anyway on the form index page, if I want to make one I just hit the "thread index" button and then "New Subject" at the top right. The ability to create a new thread when viewing an existing one seems unnecessary and confusing, and when people create new threads which were intended to be replies to existing ones using it 95% of the time they don't even know that's why it happened.

Can we change the color system for the ranks to reflect the true order of the WoW gear hierarchy?

Sub-Default user - Grey (Trash)
New user/no rank - White (Common)
Scholar - Green (Uncommon)
Sage - Blue (Rare)
Guru - Purple (Epic)
Admin - Orange (Legendary)

I think it would much more WoW like to have the ranks reflecting the same structure as the game items.
