I've met Exodus, Imperial, Draknorr, Malgayne, Tomec, Haggan, Thayos, and John Maffei. I've talked on the phone or Skype with Kaolian, Darqflame, Nizdaar, Danalog, and Snout. I've left Vlorsutes a voicemail basically asking him if he died. I dunno if Nobby counts since he was only an admin for like a day or something.

Oh also about how much of the day do you spend deleting ad spam and other keylogger-type spam? I've been doing some work for a site in which I am not going to name, and I spend at least an hour a day dealing with it.

Given the nature of the various anti-spammer tools built into our forum, we can very effectivly prevent spammers these days. About the worst attack we had in recent memory was someone who had created a targetted script to create 60 or so new usernames and have each of those new usernames spam post the same 100 topics. They had a dynamic IP, and were switching hosts left and right and hitting us at about 3am US time so most of the admins were asleep. It only took seconds to clean up after them once we became aware, and there are measures in place so that won't happen again.

Mostly though the site is harder than most to script posts to. Possibly due to less people trying to attack it. Posting certain phrases from certain IP address ranges does interesting things to your posting ability here, as does sending certain PM content under certain situations.

The longest part about dealing with spammers is picking out a good "you got admin nuked" picture to post and e-mailing their ISP in cases we can trace it to english speaking hosts to yell at them really. Otherwise, it's just us seeing one post, then clicking a button to delete all their posts from user view, then deleteing any suspect accounts on the same IP.

Aside from spammers pushing **** websites, no, not really. I have recieved funny PM's before though. And I still have them all. I have recieved almost as many PMs as I have posts over the years
