Entitlement really, really drives me nuts in EQ2. Something gets introduced that takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to obtain. And, like clock work, the self proclaimed "casual gamers" come crawling out of the woodwork demanding access to the same item with less effort required. :P

My answer to both can be the community. Sometimes it's so negative that I want to gouge my eyes out with a splintered wooden spoon and other times it's just so warm and fuzzy that I'd like to hug it.

The original everquest for me actually. On or around June 5th, 2000 I posted as "Kaolian from bertoxxulous" on the old UBB board version 1.0, and asked how a ranger went about aquiring the then at that time legendary Thorny Vine armor. Back then the forum was just an everquest forum. The people seemed interesting, and I couldn't believe that some of them (Praetorian and Usna to be precise) had over 1,000 posts! on a message board!
After that I kind of just stuck around. I saw the creation of the book forum and the Questions and Answer forum. The creation of the origional OOT forum was caused in large part due to my off topic antics (along with others, to be sure) Then came DAOC forums, and Asherons Call and Shadowbane, which I later hijacked into the first virtual empire of Shadowbania. The forums were always kind of "my baby", and I tried to help out with various tasks, reporting the bad posts, pointing out the occasional sockpuppet, etc. Eventually I got enough post count that people figured I worked for the site anyways, so they hired me!
Been here ever since.

I'm mostly playing EQ2 at the moment, I think the most annoying thing is they use so many "can't walk here" invisable walls, that it detracts from my freedom to explore. I know why they did it, it still annoying though.
I guess best thing is that Rangers absolutly kick *** in EQ2. it was kind of an appology for all those years of "rangers can't hit **** in EQ1 and even if you did somethign would just eat you, sorry"

Not me, my computer gets jelous and wouldn't tolerate a lesser machine in the room with it. Maybe when I get my house?
