During the fiasco of the "Great Allakhazam Selling The Great Allakhazam" of, what was it, 05, 06, whatever, when multiple people rated Jeff down to sub-default and suddenly, you couldn't rate a sh*tty Admin post down anymore like a regular user. I for one understand the need for Admin posts to show up loud and clear that a sub-d rating doesn't allow but, but, but, if it's a sh*tty post, it's a sh*tty post right?

What made you change that? Jeffs hurt feelings over being karma bombed or just the need for everyone to know?

Or alternativly, who are the posters that broke the camel so to speak on previous functions like LG tags, the numbers, our karma on our account page, etc, and what were the discussions around them?

The avatar goes with the character backstory I started for my EQ1 ranger "Kaolian Drachensborn" who was a half elf / half dragon hybrid. I figured sure, a half elf can be half elf and half human, but that's boring! Basically, the avatar is supposed to be the Drachensborn family crest. A green dragon for the Drachensborn line (we're forest dragons). The Shield represents service, and the role as forum protector. it actually has a stylized embossed dragon on it as well, but you can't really see it. The crossed swords represent the martial aspect of the job. I suppose a ban hammer would be more appropriate, but I figured a hammer and sword would look to hammer and sickle-ish. besides, I can't draw a cool looking hammer. The roman numerals represent how long I have been on the site as a poster and as an admin, in years. And the "Pax Draconis" portion means "Peace/Rule of the Dragon" in reference to the being an administrator part.

I try to update and refine it every year as my drawing skills slowly improve

An in progress larger version. Someday I think i'll have mousepads or something with it made up to give out at fan fairs and or for contests. But I haven't gotten that far yet.

How do the admins feel about that most of the player base use ffxiclopedia (Well from what I can see.) for information then your database, guides,etc?

I personally just lurk the forums...don't post all that much.
