and exiling myself from civilization, this danger is something I do not want to mess with.

First it was kid touchers serving up Molestations and Razored apples on Halloween, then Gumball machines and now... Soccer Goal Posts!

Why do they need portable soccer goals? My high school had ones that were driven into the ground a few feet. They had Football goal posts protruding from the top so they could be used for rugby and football as well as soccer.

The danger of me ever playing soccer again has gone from virtually zero to actually zero.

Wow, the introduction to the news is...extreme! We would never get that over in England. I'm going to write and complain to the BBC.

Oh my fUcking god... Are there no ends to the horrible dangers our children shall have to deal with? Why haven't the President dealt with this yet? THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Gah... how much retarded fear is the networks going to spread before the world realize this is just that? RETARDED! Ye Gods there is something horribly wrong with your country if this makes headline news. Newsflash! Accidents happen! All you can do is use your head to try and avoid them.

Hmmph. I wouldn't get so riled up if I hadn't already seen countless such articles about retarded dangers to everyone, spewed forth by some overly concerned news-anchor. I am not trying to sound like some conspiracy nut here, but doesn't it strike anyone as calculated attempts to spread fear among the general populace? It honestly seems too retarded to be anything else.

And tonight on Fox: Does your child run the risk of slamming head first into a goal post? Studies show football players at slightly higher risk than most.

Reporting on Iraq is old news and nothing else happened that day. When there is no news to report, make your own.

Good morning Stubs. How are you doing today? Did you sleep well last night? Did the alarm go off way too early this morning? I hope you had a breakfast of champions today and are cheery eyed and bushy tailed to get this day rolling.

Stubs, I try to start off the day on the right foot for once and instead of poking you as my first thing, I take a genuine interest in how you're doing today and you spit in my face.

If you loved me like you haven't really said but have implied, you'd know that my natural reaction to any kind of public stimulus is to spit in your face. I'm like a camel or a spitting cobra. RAWR... er.. HISSSSSSSSSSSSS!

And further more, I am doing well today. ***** you for asking. Smiley: grin

Wouldn't it just be easier to start with gouging him in the eyes and go uphill from there?

Stubs really doesn't strike me as a morning person.

I'm working on the impossible first, then working backwards. Yesterday, it was trying to drag Usagi into a serious discussion. Gave up on that one fairly quick though.

I played soccer from the ages of 8-18. It was common knowledge that you could get ****** up by a soccer goal.

The reason why those kids died was probably this.

They were jumping up and trying to hang on the top. Then it tipped over and fell on their face. I have seen many of my teammates and friends do this and have goals fall over. They were very close to death.

We had to move goals all the time when I played soccer back in high school. It's basically done every single practice. They move the goals because many times they are placed on the track field and get in the way of track practice.

I always assumed everyone knew something like this.

Very perceptive. If I had my choice I'd get up at 8:00pm and stay up til 5:00am, then sleep the rest of the day. I'm simply more functional, and therefore less irritable at night.

I'm going to build a soccer goal with spikes and explosives on it. And mail into the Fox news Room.
