Dear OoT - possibly pointlessFollow

I found this on youtube and got all jittery and excited and had to share it with as many people as possible!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WiMjTgh-u4

It's like - meatloaf - live - singing that there I would do anything...but I won't do that thinger.

I find it pretty difficult to find meatloaf live(from over 10 years ago) and in good quality - so this got me pretty excited.

it makes me sad that he's getting so old(he's 60 now)

It reminds me of The Life and Adventures of Santaclaus - where Santa was going to die - but the immortals bestowed the Mantle of Immortality right before the spirit of death got to him...

I would definitely want to give that to meatloaf so that he, like santa, could make future generations happy.

Psh, find me something from the first Bat Out of Hell - LIVE that was of decent video quality...

I found a semi-decent "You took the words right out of my mouth" but it was either the real music video, or lip synched...also - I really prefer Meatloaf with his less recent appearance(the long hair, the schnazzy outfits - as opposed to his now shorter hair, and tendency to wear...like...suits)

edit: also =/ I'm like 20...so I mean, I really wasn't around for the first Bat...and I'll admit - I don't even own Bat I...all I have are some old tapes of my dad's

Eh, never really did like Meatloaf. Oh, good music I suppose, but it's just so... soft. Too soft for my own tastes. I am more a fan of things like this (they haven't made a real music video of this one yet), or this.

Merely a matter of taste then...

I like Meatloaf, but his music is surprisingly hard to find in album quality.

Finding older live music can't be anywhere near as hard as finding a good quality copy of the full length version of the song "Bat Out Of Hell".

True, but at least he posted one of the better songs from the album(not that the rest of the album isn't pretty decent either).

Also, as long as we're talking about hard to find music.

Anyone know where I can get a copy of One For The Road by The Kinks?

That sounds too industrial for my tastes, but my musical tastes are rather cluttered and at times erratic.

I liked a lot of Bat II, I love wasted youth. Everything about it seemed perfect - including the bagpipes at the end - and of course the amazing into from whatsisface... Jim Stein lol

"the blood of the guitar was CHUCK BERRY RED"

come on, that had to make you lulz.

next time I'm at the mall, I'll be sure to pick up Bat I.

Rammstein is pretty sweet. I have Mutter and Live Aus Berlin. Kinda stopped listening to them as much a while ago though...maybe I'll listen to Mutter for old times' sake.

Meatloaf is awesome. Old, but gold.

I'm currently into this band.

I got a kick out of his diet plan. "Put the fork down, stupid!"

Bat out of hell is the best though.
