So, I work at a Marine Store as most of you probably know, and I have this older guy who comes in and always ask for me, and I have been helping him get his boat ready to cruise Mexico. He's probably in his late 70's or so.


So anyways, he comes in today and says "hey you wanna go to mexico" and I sad "Sure" and kinda laughed. Then he said No, he was dead serious. He would like help of someone who knew the electronics etc that I had sold him, and knew about boats to help him and his ladyfriend bring the boat across the Sea of Cortez to laPaz, Mexico. I think thats where it was, anyways, I dont remember exact city.


So, long story short, he offered me $500, all expenses paid, and I can stay there as long as I want, with an open ended return flight ticket for when I want to come back.

This what's gonna happen.

You gonna wake up naked and strapped to an upright table, like in silence of the lambs. Some guy who plays wow is gonna shot you up w/ bare viagra and spanish fly.

Then the table is gonna start moving forward and there's gonna be a really hot guy and some BUTTERS girl infront of you. And you need to pick one.

Hell yes.


La Paz and the Sea of Cortez are some of the most beautiful sights I have seen.


If you are being paid to go I strongly recommend it.




I would upload pictures, but it seems I have none on my laptop and they are all on my fathers computer.

The trip alone may or may not still be worth it.

If you have nothing tying you down back home, go for it dude. Experiences like that only come around a few times in your life.

A few friends have said to keep a knife close, just in case. He seems sincere, but in the back of my head is that "What if" thought, even tho he is 70+.

He is 70, and it is slightly unbelievable, but it is probably maybe your only chance at something like this.


I remember a lot of stories from my father about his trips to Mexico, and just life stories he gained from them.


I would say trust the guy. Don't come to a conclusion of, this may not be safe, but come to a, this will be an amazing trip.


Being negative will just make the trip uneasy, and less enjoyable.

I'm going to agree with Fozzy Bear, if you're interested in picking up and going for a while, do it. I know you're a small guy, but surely you can take out a 70yr old. Besides, if he's got a boat, he may be a rich old guy and his lady friend could be a hot 22yr old **** looking for a sugar daddy. They always need a young guy to help where the old guy can't.

It's not permanent, its just like a month or so, or shorter if I want.

I dunno, something feels off. But then again my sense of intuition thought that the third pirate of a carribean movie was gonna be good.
