Black men with long fingernailsFollow

Has anyone ever seen/noticed this? I saw it a lot when I was working retail, and about half of our customers were black. I mostly noticed it because it would usually only be one of their fingernails that would be about 1/2 inch long. They are generally thug/gangsta looking guys. I never did ask any of them about it.

I'm thinking maybe this is a new trend or something? I just searched the web to no avail after seeing it again today, This being the only interesting bit of (old) information. Any black guys out there know anything about this?

In some asian cultures, men will grow one fingernail (usually the pinky) as a symbol of wealth.

I did see a thing on that, but thought it was unrelated. Pretty interesting though.

I think I threw up a little.

...quite possibly the most vomit-inducing pet peeve I have. It's disgusting and should be illegal... velociraptor toenails on women coming in a close second. There is no "why" that would suffice.

It's for coke, usually it will be pinky, index and/or thumb.

If their teeth are rotten and their fingernails are sharp they don't have to please their woman. They're no good, clever tricksters.

Genetically speaking, people of African descent have a predisposition to lycanthropy which manifests in ways such as talon-like nails. It's just science.
