To put it bluntly I'm bored and want to watch a movie. I just can't decide what to watch. A horror movie would be nice but from a previous thread I've made it sounds like I've seen the best that horror has to offer in the opinion of the collective OOT. Something with action is nice, not in the mood for comedy, high emotions but not mushy. Maybe some examples will assist.

Road to Perdition
In the Mouth of Madness
Lucky Number Sleven
Boondock Saints
Hellraiser
Event Horizon
The Last Samurai

Don't confuse the list as a list of my favorites. It's just some movie types I'm looking for at the moment. My cup runneth dry.

I know you said you're not in the mood for a comedy, but this movie doesn't exactly cover just that base. It's a pretty good movie, and if it matters, is Hellboi approved.

That doesn't sound very "explosiony."

Defiantly not.

I think I just love to plug this movie wherever possible. I absolutely adore it.

You could always go oldschool and watch Tango and Cash? Smiley: dubious

Edit: Oh! On the note of oldschool, Maverick! And of course, there's always Bond movies.

Oh, one of the overviews I read in Rime's suggestions reminded me of a movie I've been dying to plug for you guys. Check out Apt Pupil. You won't regret it.

edit- lol That was probably a bad idea given my avatard. Bring it on, Godwin!

Oh it was something someone said about "demanding more from our art as we get older" when describing American Psycho.
