So then, would it be normal for a 28 year old to want to date a 15 year old? Smiley: tongue

Here's the other thing: anyone who is hung up on "dating" (what a polite euphemism that is) people restricted to a certain age range has as much as admitted that he/she is only into short-term serial monogamy at best.

Sad fact: people age.

That depends on the woman. But a 15 year old is not a woman.

I didn't say you did. I was qualifying my answer before someone tried to argue that a 15 year old can be "mature for her age."

I don't think a 15 year old could ever be mature enough for a 40 year old.

Well, I didn't think it needed to be explained why a 40 year old is sick for wanting to date a 15 year old, but the OOT astounds once again.

If I was 15, I would totally date a 15 year old.

Simple Guidelines to posting in the OoT:

1. Take everything you know that everyone else knows, and forget that they know it.
2. Assume everyone is mentally equivalent to a 3 year old, with coinciding attention span
3. There will be exceptions to this, and watch out for them. However, as soon as you think there are more than 10 people who don't follow the above rules, go back to 1

When I was 24 I had an affair with a 48 year old woman.

So, what I'm saying is: Samira, how you doin'?

Turns me on sometimes. Makes me think they're an amateur and rarely do it.

It's like being 16 again.

Then I get to coach them and it makes me feel powerful.

Hey if a 15 year old actually WANTS to date a 40 year old (in the off chance), more power to them. I'm not going to presume I know what's best for people and try to dictate how they live their lives.

Live and let live and all that jazz.

No matter how much you wish for it, that 40yr old cougar next door is not going to sleep with you. Get over it.
