I have been trying to watch videos on Google and just started having troubles with it. I use a TVLinks type site to find the show and the links usually take me to Google. The Video plays for a few minutes and then the streaming bar just stops. 9 times out of 10 I have to just give up because it stops working completely.

I use FireFox latest version and haven't had troubles for the longest time until about a week ago.

I use the IE Tab Firefox extension for finicky pages like that.

Are you trying to fast forward through the videos and stuff?

Also, try giving it some time to preload before you start watching it. I often have to do that with Veoh.

Have you tried clicking on the bar just prior to the current point of the video? I've seen lots of video sites "stick" a little on a portion of a video. This usually gets it moving again.

Yeah those tricks used to work but not anymore, it just stops streaming/downloading.

Are you trying to watch it before the video loads for a period of time or trying to jump ahead? Try letting the video load completely before playing. If that doesn't work, refresh the page and the video should start working again. If that fails, clean your internet cache and reload the browser. If that still fails...google it!

Yeah the show is an hour and a half, I'll let it preload for as long as possible but that usually doesn't matter because it stops streaming before I even start playing it.

I Googled it also and that didn't get me any answers either Smiley: frown

Maybe Google is just trying to phase out video.google.com.

I was just watching Stephen Lynch's special on it and it crapped out on me about halfway through. Weird.
