It seems the envelope on the table was a card and pin thanking me for sticking with my sh*t job for a year now. It's a junk pin so I can't hock it for the gold it isn't made out of. Now, what to do with it? Since it'll probably be good for a laugh, I'll ask you guys.

I should...
Wear it normally as a sign of pride in being part of the Circle K "team." *snicker* :0 (0.0%)
Wear it on my collar and pretend to be a Star Fleet officer. :13 (37.1%)
Pin it to the crotch on my pants (before I put them on Smiley: rolleyes) and make a scene whenever somebody points it out because they were checking out my junk.:12 (34.3%)
Stick it into their eyes. :5 (14.3%)
Other (BT is automatically disqualified because he already got his kicks seeing himself mentioned in this very sentence.) :5 (14.3%)
Total:35

Just be careful you don't prick yourself and start bleeding.

You know, with your condition and all...

Give him a break. He's been waiting for an opportunity to show that off for months now.

It actually made me giggle a bit. I get made fun of because down here in the South, pin and pen are pronounced the same. But I'm originally from the North so I enunciate it better. I get strange looks from my Southern co-workers.

But I've never seen anyone misunderstand it when it's written down. Smiley: lol

The best part is that if I had read the poll, it would have given further indication that it was a pin and not a pen.
But yeah, I'll chalk it up to a combination of the fact that I'm really sleepy, it's Monday, I was on the phone, and I live in Alabama.

All of which, coupled with the fact that you're Usagichan and taking into account the picture you posted, are valid reasons to misunderstand the OP.

Right.
So the rerail the thread, I think you should actually wear a 3 piece suit and wear the pin on your blazer.
Then run around yelling, "I'M CHARGIN MAH BLAZER!"

Holy sh*t, you have worked at Circle K for a year and you haven't put a bullet in your brain?

You're at least the store manager right?

Congrats! you have survived longer than 99% of all Circle Jerk employees.
I'd drop it in the toilet and take a healthy dump on top of it before I flush.

On a serious note, if you have a cubicle wall, pin it to the wall. In the spirit of halloween, if you have a plant or someone does, bury the pin and make a little tomb stone w/ an RIP on the top. Who knows, maybe it'll become a zombie pin during the next full moon.

Or... you can give it to BT so he can put it on the inside of the funnel thing his cat has to wear so the cat has something more than the plastic to lick.

Psst, he works in a convenience store. I mean, I guess he might call the ******* his "cubicle", but I think that's mostly for ironic effect. And to stifle the voices in his head, begging him to hang himself in the cooler.

Ahh... I missed that part until I re-read the line about him working for Circle K. Those places still exist? I think we used to have a few of those in the area, but haven't seen one in quite some time.

Now there's an idea. Tape the thing to the wall in the bathroom and start one of those anti-inspirational posters w/ magic marker allowing every person who uses the restroom to contribute.
