I seen Hellraiser was on TV earlier, and it got me thinking... Pinhead is one sexy ****. Don't ask me why, but he is. Also on my list of 'Sexy Evil Bastards' is Hannibal Lecter. Even though he's about 50 years older than I am.

Who's on your list?

Pinhead could get me hot and bothered merely by the power of his voice. "Do I look like I care what God thinks?" in that voice of his was close to ruining a perfectly good pair of pants.

Seeing as how I hate the original Hellraiser and love it so much at the same time, I can't wait to see the remake.

what better "sexy evil *******" is there than Dr. Evil himself? Case closed.

If they would have stopped at Hellraiser, it would have been a masterpiece of horror cinema. But then they had to go and tarnish with successively worse sequals. Shame on you Clive Barker.

That being said, I'll repeat what I said in the first of three Hellraiser threads that have popped up in the last day, Ashley Laurence was (and is) one hot mama. Many kittens were killed on her behalf when I was a lad.

The novella on which the movie was based, The Hellbound Heart, was a great read.

Clive Barker wasn't even part of any Hellraiser post #3 I believe, so blaming him is hardly his fault. Hollywood bought the name and stripped it of all things good. It's hardly his fault that they tarnished 2 and beyond. The new one is hopeful because they're actually giving Clive Barker a lot more control. Also since Clive Barker said he'd never work with Hollywood again because of the horrible taste that was left in his mouth from a few of his other movies I doubt he's doing it because they offered more money.

Yeah, but I've got to aim my ire somewhere. Smiley: smile

I actually had no idea they were remaking Hellraiser. I don't know how I feel about that yet. I hope they don't turn Pinhead into Freddy Kruger.

Well even though Clive Barker is getting a lot more creative control over certain things like no CGI which he haets, they're going to be using different directors who I believe co-directed his Masters of Horrors episode on Cinemax

This is the compiled info that I remember from the grapevine when I did like 40 minutes of googling for.

We should blame the Jews, if this movie is bad I'm killing Mindel.

Best quote by him was in IV when he killed the robot.

Quote:

Dude: What the hell is that?!
Pinhead: The remains of a most unsatisfying victim.
