I was surprised he was still alive.

The only thing I know about him is that he was a singer. I only know that because I saw him being interviewed once on a talk show, and he told a story about being so excited about singing the national anthem at the start of a Series baseball game that he completely forgot the words.

I like people who tell funny stories on themselves; therefore I wish him well.

I know who Robert Goulet is. My mind for pop culture is massive and encompasses all media except for anything sports related. It's sad.
