Are you kidding me?? What state do you live in? $10 an hour gets you a spot isn't enough for a single person to live on in California. Not and live decently, anyway. $500 for rent? In a shake with no heat, maybe, or in a studio apartment in a town where your dreams of a better life will soon be crushed under the boot heels of the people you wait on at the diner everyday.
