I dunno. I think it'd be pretty natural to be offended if someone worked to establish that genetically a group I'm part of is stupider than another group that has historically oppressed me.

Some of you didn't read the article. He didn't say he discovered a difference in intelligence along racial lines. He gave a controversial opinion based on observation, not on research.

I haven't seen any test that is a good measure of IQ. I'm actually going over this topic in my Psychology class right now, and at least according to my book there is no genetic proof.

Well, if I was a race that had been enslaved, treated as a lesser individual, and generally shat upon for many many years, I'd probably be pissed of some guy said, "Oh, and they're just genetically less intelligent than everybody. Seriously, it's in their genes, pity them."
Oh, wait... That's what's happened to women. And I was pissed about it then, too.
I think it's hard for white guys to fully understand how it feels to look back and see someone your race/gender discounted. You guys have always been favored, so there's nothing for you to relate to.

Thats what I was trying to get at. I read the article but I couldn't find whether he actually came to this conclusion scientifically or not.

I don't need a point of reference to understand. I know that black people got the short end of the stick, so did the women, native americans, asians, jews, and countless other races/people. Be pissed about it, it sucks. But just how long are you going to hang on to your grudge? It is very unhealthy, both mentally and physically to force yourself to be mad at something you have absolutely NO control over. The world you control ends at your fingertips.

In case you are unaware, I am half jewish. I am missing family because of WWI and II. The irony, the other half of my ancestry is responsible for it. So tell me who I am supposed to be pissed at? The jews for being jewish, or the germans for fighting for what they believed? Right or wrong, it's what they believed. You want lip service, you won't get it from me. I honestly don't care.
