Reminds me of a serious question one of my more ditsy friend girls made one time. we were talking about this couple and they both had HIV/AIDS prior to their relationship and she perks up and says "Wait , I don't get it, If two people with AIDS have sex, do they get like , more AIDS, and do they die sooner because of it ?"

It's nice to see how tough you are behind your computer screen though. When you get out college, or high school, or whatever you're in, at some point down the road, you'll learn to not take everything so personal. I was once full of **** and vinegar too (however, I wasn't quite as dumb as you) but its something you grow out of with age. That, or you fail miserably at life. Really though, that's your choice. Grow up and mature or remain an adolescent. Really, I don't give a sh*t what you do though.

Given how personally they took it, it's safe to assume that someone they know, or one or both of them has it. Maybe even a friend or family member has died from it? Maybe they are just socially concerned people.
The problem is not that they protested against Flix's admittedly nasty comment to someone about wishing HIV on them, which would have been entirely reasonable, but that right from the start they topped Flix's original slur with their own nastiness, and personal attacks upon Flix and Ugly.
It's like Flix slapped someone in anger, and then Ugly nominated Flix for a "best and fairest" sporting award. Two bystanders were so outraged by Flix's behaviour, and by Ugly nominating Flix to be honoured for good sportmanship, they then pulled out a bazooka and blew both Flix and Ugly up.
Yes Maaia and whatshisname were perfectly justified in getting angry at Flix, and cross with Ugly. They weren't justified in going on a rampage about it though.
