I know I was just reading that in the news paper. My mother takes Vioxx for her arthritis.
It musta been really bad for the company to voluntary pull a cash cow like that off the market.

Yikes.. doubled the risk of heart attacks.. scary..
And they are offering refunds too.
This is bad news. The problem is that there is never enough testing before they place a drug on the market. The FDA has become extremely lax of late. Best thing would be if someone died from this, the family sued for ALOT of money, and won of course. Maybe then these companies and the FDA would wake the **** up and start doing their job instead of worrying about the almighty dollar.
