MAN, those were the good old days when the boars had threads fluttering around with the soul purpose to get a better rank and star on the old UBB boards. Well not really, just a nostalgic moment.

So posting a message saying: "last" isn't padding? I must be mistaken. My point wasn't personally directed at him (here we go again) it was a refference that anyone who's played Last is guilty of padding. To me padding is posting a nonsense post who's sole purpose is to add to his/her post count. Thus posting a "Last" post would be padding. But I could be wrong.
he's not a Last offender, like some of the other huge post count people
and anytime someone posts a decent chunk of posts to a Last thread, and it's brought to my attention, I remove that amount from their post count, rounding up
(hence why Skeeter is missing about 7k posts from his count by now)

Im afraid that I have to agree with Fizzel. The amount of posts do not matter. Same goes for post ratings. The reason some people have more posts is because they have been on the boards longer, not because they are any better than anyone else. Rating people based on the amount they have posted just leads to more junk on the boards.
I've never posted just to pad my post count. I have plenty of inane things to say that it goes up all by itself.
And I'm never going to make it like you do... making posts for no reason at all...
