Where does homer simpson and family live?Follow

#1 Jul 27 2004 at 5:20 PM Rating: Decent
for the last 9 years or so i have watched the simpsons...well i dont know how long they been on im just guessing 9. Multiple times they have said if you follow the clues it isnt to hard to figure out. Every couple episodes they make reference to the location of their address. I was watching the simpsons today, it was the episode of homer losing his licence and he takes up walking...one of the scenes has homer walking from a star on a map of the United States going north east...the star was around the Carolinas.....Where do you think he lives and what clues do you have?

They don't live in any state.

Any so-called "evidence" can be contradicted by something else.

The writers of the show purposely made it so they're not in any specific state.

In Springfield.

Sheesh. 742 Evergreen Terrace could be ANYWHERE.

You must specify Springfield.

A lot of people think Kentucky. Some think Ohio. Some think Illinois.

All have Springfields roughly that size.

They actually play on that joke in one of the episodes. Marge is in the kitchen giving her address to somebody on the phone when Flanders' wife walks by and waves.

"Yeah, that's 742 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield O-hi Maud!"

It's a lot funnier when you hear it. Trust me.

Wh00t... a topic I can join in on...

Any of you remember when the town of Springfield split up into Olde Springfield and New Springfield? It was all cause of an area code change. I would have to say that this is sololy the biggest clue as to which Springfield they do reside in.

The area codes were 939 and 636. Also some other numbers in the show have the area code 636. This would put Springfield some where near St. Louis, Mo. So my guess would be Springfield, Mo. if anything... however, they intentionally kept hints of where they live contradictive with one another. The intent is to always keep us guessing and wondering...

Any ways, here's a good simpson's fact page.

Thats because it was in what is now called Arizona. Think about it... there's a Bedrock, Az today, and they were somewhat close to Vegas.

Duh... which way did he go George? Which way did he go?

FFXI Forums are here, you are currently in the Out Of Topic where any topic is appropriate and does not specifically relate to any one game.

In the episode where they go to Japan they go to this American style restraunt and sit at this Mass. shaped table and I think Lisa showed one of them where the house was. I'm not too sure I haven't seen that episode in a LONG time. But what would contradict that is the fact that West Springfield is a desert and full of oil.
