Hardcore MMORPGers, what game should I play?Follow

OK, Final Fantasy was the first MMORPG I played. But I'm done with it. I'm tired of being forced to play those jobs that pts need (I used to be a 55 whm), rather than play what I want (MNK/THF) and have to wait forever to get into a pt. The community on Midgarsormr is jacked, not nearly enough WHMs so tons of ppl waiting around for a pt, and MNKS are picked last as far as damage dealers go. The fact that I can't solo kills me.

OK, what I really need is help with what game to play to keep me at bay until WoW or EQ2 comes out. I played Lineage II and it almost destroyed my faith in MMORPGs. Here's what I'm looking for:

1. Soloing capabilites when a pt isn't available. (FFXI flaw)
2. Not losing my 1,000,000 adena armor when I die.(Lineage 2 flaw, that hurts)

The rest I'm open for, I could also try a PvP game, though Lineage also almost killed that for me too.

Help! I can't just wait until the next two powerhouses emerge (WoW and EQ2), I need something to keep me at bay!
