Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Tin Cup

Don't ask why I just think it's a great movie.

Mr. Baseball

Great representation of Japan and Japanese baseball without being overbearing or dumbing down for American audiences.

Classics (over 15 years old):
The Natural

The Longest Yard (often imitated never matched)

The Boys in Company C (Vietnam war movie about Marine soccer team in Vietnam)

Contemporary (under 15 years):
Major League

Kingpin

Bring it On (ummm, there was football in the background)

Sports Illustrated 1994 Swimsuit Issue Video (not sure if this counts, but it has sport in the title)

I can't believe no one mentioned The Pride of the Yankees!

Also, I really liked For the Love of the Game, as well as most of those already mentioned above.

Best Serious Sport's Movie
The Power of One

Best funny scene in a sports movie
Necessary Roughness.. the samurai guy and then the ref calling all the fouls.

no clue as to most funny... a good vote would be Major League.

Does "The Big Lebowski" count as a sports movie?

If so I vote for it.

If not then I'll throw a vote out for "Slapshot". I'd put "61*" in a top ten, since nobody has mentioned it yet.
